Managing Director / CEO

Mr Sherifdeen Adebola Rabiu is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Balogun Gambari Microfinance Bank Ltd. He has many years of experience combined internal Audit, Credit & Risk Management, Human resources and Administrative, performance management, financial services, business development, Treasury management, corporate services and internal control.

He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ACA) and Microfinance Certified of the institute of Chartered Bankers of Nigeria (MCIB). He holds a Diploma in Accounting and Data Processing from the University of Ilorin. He also graduated from the University of Ilorin with Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He had his Master degree in Treasury Management from Bayero University Kano.

He was the pioneer Head Internal Audit & Chief compliance officer of Regent Microfinance bank until his appointment in 2017 as the Chief financial officer of the bank.

He has attended several various training and seminars among others includes; Enterprise Risk Management, Teambuilding & performance management, Strategic Management & Productivity, Risk-Based Audit, ICT in Banking environment, Customers Relationship Management (master class), strategic Islamic Financial management organized by Islamic Institute of Accounting and Finance, Nigeria, Islamic Microfinance Development and Interest Free cooperative Society.

He has passion for learning and knowledge management and during his spare time is a resource person to ICAN tuition centres in the area of financial reporting & Advance Taxation.
